National squads

Regional teams

Four leagues run the championships in their own area and field regional teams in international competition.

The leagues

Each league runs its own men’s and ladies championships at the start of the season, ahead of the Federal Championship.

Brittany League

Since 2008, it has brought together the 10 clubs of historic Brittany (Finistère, Morbihan, Côtes-d’Armor, Ille-et-Vilaine, Loire-Atlantique). It runs the men’s and ladies championships and the Brittany Cup, and is represented by the Brittany teams in international competition.

South-West League

The second league created in France (2018), it brings together the clubs of Niort, Bordeaux, Toulouse and, soon, Poitiers. It has also been represented at the latest European Championships and World Games.

Centre-West League

Created in 2021, it brings together a majority of young clubs from Normandy, Centre-Val de Loire and Pays de la Loire (excluding Loire-Atlantique). For now there is only a men’s championship, with many projects in the pipeline.

South-East League

Created in 2021, it brings together Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon, Azur and Montpellier. Before their own league existed, its clubs had already teamed up as the Occitanie side to play at the 2019 World Games.

And the other clubs?

Three clubs are not yet part of any league. That doesn’t stop them playing their neighbours in the Benelux countries or across the Rhine.
